Attendance at every class is not mandatory but expected. The student is expected to frequently enter into class discussions. Participation is a component of grading and accounts for 10% of the grade. In this regard, a student who minimally participates risks receiving a lower grade.
FOR ON-LINE STUDENTS. Do not turn your computer on and then leave. I will find out, and you will receive a low grade for class participation
Professionalism
All students should be mindful and respectful of information which is accessed on the web. Obscene, objectionable information, or other questionable information should not be exchanged through the web.
Students should be able to discuss all assigned reading in class. The best learning occurs from thoroughly preparing in advance. It will be obvious in quality of work product whether a student has been reading the text or other assignments.
Participants may only submit ORIGIONAL WORK PRODUCT. All tests, project reports, quizzes, case studies reports, research papers, and assignments become the property of the instructor. Students will get some comments via email and through posted general comments.
Any student caught cheating, and/or plagiarizing on a test, report, paper will be dealt with in the most severe fashion possible. This may include dismissal from or failing the course. Cheating includes taking or using stolen information from another student or source.
Written products such as case studies and reports are to follow the guidelines found in Work Product.
