Student Communication

There will be times when students may be required to communicate with one another. The information on Blackboard is not 100% secure. The instructor will only post email addresses or other personal information (fax and phone numbers) upon student consent.

Students can discuss ideas through:

  • email
  • chat rooms
  • threaded discussion

Students may communicate via emailing one another to discuss topics or develop group projects. An alternative is for students to use a chat room and agree upon a time in which to do so. The chat room can be used without instructor presence. The last option is to post messages and attached documents on Blackboard. This method is similar to a combination of chat and email. Messages are strung together and the flow of the dialog involving a discussion is recorded.

Please email the instructor with your email address and/or phone number should you wish to have it available for other students in your group. It will be posted here.

    NOTICE

All work product is considered to be acceptable to post for others to critique. In this regard, wording, ideas and thoughts of the group should be clearly expressed and should be suitable for posting. Confidential information should be clearly marked as such. The instructor will not post work designated as "Confidential".
