Send E-Mail
Now that you have added material to your course, it's time to let your students know the material is there! Sending an e-mail out to your class or, to a number of other users, couldn't be easier.
Students must have their UF Net account with a valid e-mail address before they can receive e-mail through Blackboard or log in to blackboard.
To Send an Email to Your Entire Class
- From the Course Tools area of the Control Panel, click "Send-mail."
- To send an e-mail to your entire class, choose "All Users." Your may also choose to send an e-mail to other users, listed in the "Send Email" module.
- Compose your e-mail telling your students to log in to view their course material.
- Add desired attachments and click "Submit" to send the email.
- Click "OK" to acknowledge the receipt of your changes.
- Click "OK" or use the breadcrumb trail to return to the Control Panel.
After selecting "All Users," a copy of your message will be automatically sent to you in order to maintain a record of the communication.
